Description
We have a bit of a fun treat for you: a free New Year’s treasure hunt, with a real prize at the end.
The Captain has left post-it notes at 12 Burning Blue Design airfields in very particular locations. You need to follow the clues to find them. Simply download the treasure hunt file and install it in your Community folder as you would with any of our products. It helps to have burning blue products installed as the post-its are often affixed to custom objects.
The Rules:
- Each clue leads to a specific spot at another BBD airfield
- Find the post-it note, read the next clue, fly on
- The final clue reveals your prize, 20% off a BBD purchase.
You don’t need any BBD airfields to complete the challenge, but it certainly helps to have them for immersion. You will also be able to read every note in both the spectator and walk-around views. The package will work with both MSFS 2020 and 2024.

Once you have purchased and downloaded the product, double click on the zip file to open it. You should see the airport’s folder inside, this will need to be extracted and placed into your Microsoft Flight Simulator Community folder, if you don’t know where the community folder is, we have a full guide on how to install our packages here.

Known Bugs
- Transparent and translucent glass panes can appear very dark when subject to particle effects such as rain, snow and fog. This is a known bug that Asobo/Microsoft are aware of and will hopefully fix in the near future.
